Our honda van gets about 20 miles per gallon. Our Toyota Prius gets about 42 miles per gallon. What percent increase is fuel economy do I get with the Prius?

van = 20 miles per gallon

Prius = 42 miles per gallon

42-20 = 22 miles per gallon increase

22 / 20 = 1.1

1.1 * 100 = 110% increase
