Honestly I'd say false, Jesus' sacrifice was God's ultimate expression of love, by going through a great amount of pain, being ridiculed by His own creation, and even dying, so they could be eternally free.
As Jesus Himself says, "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends." - John 15:13
