28 - 2.2y = 11.6y + 262.6
28 - 2.2y + 2.2y= 11.6y + 262.6 + 2.2y     Add 2.2y to each side
28 = 13.8y + 262.6
28 - 262.6 = 13.8y + 262.6 - 262.6           Subtract 262.6 from each side
-234.6 = 13.8y
-234.6 / 13.8 = 13.8y / 13.8                       Divide each side by 13.8
-17 = y
