Condensation is the process of where water vapor turns into liquid. If there was no condensation stage there would be no rain, water would just evaporate into the air and would not come back down, overtime lakes, rivers, and oceans would just dry up since water isn't being brought back down to fill them. Earth would basically become a desert.
