So let's say that Adriana is A years old, then it means her dad is 3 x A years old right?
So if 3 x A = 36 we have to divide both sides by 3.
[tex] \frac{3 x A}{3} = \frac{36}{3} [/tex]
Then we can see A = 12
So Adriana is 12 years old.
