Given the following points:

Point P: (-4, 3)

Point Q: (9, 14)

To be able to find the midpoint of the line segment, we will be using the following formula:

[tex]\text{ Midpoint = }\frac{x_1+x_2}{2},\frac{y_1+y_2_{}}{2}[/tex]

We get,

[tex]\text{ Midpoint = }\frac{x_1+x_2}{2},\frac{y_1+y_2}{2}[/tex][tex]\text{= }\frac{(-4)+(9)_{}}{2},\frac{3_{}+14_{}}{2}[/tex][tex]\text{ = }\frac{5}{2},\frac{17}{2}[/tex]

Therefore, the midpoint of the line segment is 5/2, 17/2.
