We want to find the equivalent expression for

[tex]x^{\frac{1}{2}}[/tex]

Read as: x to the power of half

The equivalent expression for this is

[tex]\sqrt[]{x}[/tex][tex]x^{\frac{1}{2}}\text{ and }\sqrt[]{x}\text{ both have the same meaning}[/tex]
