The unit circle has a radius = 1

the terminal point (x,y) will be calculated using the following formulas:

[tex]\begin{gathered} x=cos(\theta) \\ y=sin(\theta) \end{gathered}[/tex]

Substitute θ = 4pi/3

[tex]\begin{gathered} x=cos(\frac{4\pi}{3})=-\frac{1}{2} \\ \\ y=sin(\frac{4\pi}{3})=-\frac{\sqrt{3}}{2} \end{gathered}[/tex]

So, the answer will be:

[tex](x,y)=(-\frac{1}{2},-\frac{\sqrt{3}}{2})[/tex]
