And we need to graph F-G

Step 1. Find the expression for F-G.

We subtract the expressions for F(x) and G(x):

[tex]F-G=x^2-(3x+1)[/tex]

Simplifying this expression:

[tex]F-G=x^2-3x-1[/tex]
