Dimeter of the cylinder = 10 ft

To find:

The volume of the cylinder.

Solution:

We have,

Dimeter of the cylinder = 10 ft

So, radius is half of diameter, i.e., 5 ft.

Volume of the cylinder is

[tex]V=\pi r^2h[/tex]

Where, r is the radius and h is the height.

Putting [tex]\pi=3.14[/tex], r=5 and h=21, we get

[tex]V=(3.14)(5)^2(21)[/tex]

[tex]V=(3.14)(25)(21)[/tex]

[tex]V=1648.5[/tex]

Therefore, the volume of the cylinder is 1648.5 cubic ft.
