Pale Tongue Body. Indicates the quality of Blood, reflecting Blood and/or Qi Deficiency or Cold. If the tongue body is also moist, tender, and swollen, this can indicate Yang Cold. A pale thin tongue body usually indicates Qi and Blood Deficiency.
