Describe what happens to Grendel when he raids Herot and encounters Beowulf. When Grendel raided Herot he ate one of Beowulfs men. Then Beowulf grabbed Grendels arm until it ripped off in Beowulfs hand. Finally Grendel goes back where he dies.
