The only things that will multiply to equal -5 is -5x1 or 5x-1. Of those two you can figure out which one adds to 4. Check each one: -5+1=-4 or 5+-1=4 (don’t forget adding a negative sign is the same subtracting). So the answer must be 5 and -1 * please comment on this if you need help understanding how to add and multiply negatives
