we will be using formula of heat absorbed

[tex] Q=mc \Delta T [/tex]

where

Q is heat absorbed

m is mass

c is specific heat of iron skillet

[tex]  \Delta T [/tex] is temperature change

we are given

[tex] m=72g [/tex]

[tex] c=0.449J/g [/tex]

[tex] \Delta T=27-6 [/tex]

[tex] \Delta T=21 [/tex]

now, we can plug values

[tex] Q=72*0.449*21 [/tex]

[tex] Q=678.888J [/tex]

so,

heat absorbed is 678.888J............Answer
