Is 6/3 > 8/3?

The three numbers I have are 6/3, 5/3, and 8/3. I need to make up three sentences and explain. Just trying to clarify.

No 8/3 is greater because if you turn them into mixed numbers 6/3 would be 2 and 8/3 would be 2 1/2
