x+y=30....1
x+3y=53.......2
from equ 1
x=30-y......3
sub in equ 2
30-y+3y=53
30+2y=53
2y=53-30
2y=23
y=23/2 =11.5
sub in equ 3
x=30-11.5
x=18.5
